In the season seven episode of gilmore girls titled French Twist, Rory and her two friends put bright pink, purple, and green highlights in their hair. They show up really well and were temporary b/c she didnt have them after that episode. Now I know she had proffesionals do this for her but how could i get the really intense highlights that wash out at home.

if you got to any drug store in the haircoloring aisle you will find a lot of these things i know one product its called one night stand it's really good! it wears out as soon as you take a shower and its not a crappy product and sooo easy to use!! you can buy it at kmart if you cant find it there are other similar products like this at the drug store

I think your best bet for non-permanent is the spray on hair color. That way you can spray several coats to get it as dark as you want, and it will still wash out.

If it was bright, vibrant color, I bet they were clip-in hair pieces and not actually colored. I don't remember that exact episode, but see if you think this might be a possibility?
