HELP!

Fried or dying hair?? :(?

Use a hot oil or cream treatment regularly. Go get a trim, it'll grow faster, try to wash your hair less if you do it every day. Hair dressers can give you some great deep-conditioning treatments as well. When straightening your hair, make sure you use a protective spray. ALWAYS!

if its fried it will look crinkly and if its burnt will look that way. it will have to be trimmed off. if it need cream rinse then get good one cheap at sallys supply house generic is the brand name very reasonable and good.

Yeah, that'll happen. Even with a good ceramic straightener, you NEED to protect your hair from heat damage (which can also occur from frequent blow-drying).

I use AG Insulate heat protection spray (link: http://www.aghaircosmetics.com/products_... before I blow dry my hair, or you can use it before you straighten a section with your flat-iron. You can also consider deep conditioning treatments (usually used about once a week - Oscar Blandi makes an excellent one but it's a little expensive). Leave-in conditioners are probably easiest. It might sound like extra work on your hair, but trust me, it's worth it. Especially if you don't wanna have to cut your hair.

Ask any hair care professional or someone else who straightens their hair regularly, and they can recommend similar inexpensive products that'll help keep your hair from breaking and drying out. No need to panic. LOL Hope this helps :)

If your hair is really damaged, deep moisturize with olive oil. I think the reason your hair is getting so dry is that you are ironing it for too long. Your hair should be exposed to heat for only a few seconds.
