I am in my teens and looking for a job. I would like to color my hair a cool color (like pink) but I'm not sure where it would be allowed. Should I forget about coloring my at all?
Where can I work where hair color isn't a problem?
Teenagers have enough trouble being taken seriously even without pink hair. Most employers want representatives of their companies to look professional, mature and put together. Many workplaces have policies against extreme hair colors; these policies are generally reviewed in new employee orientations or interviews. Find out when you apply for a job.

That should not be a problem at most record stores, or clothing stores such as Hot Topic, Journeys, and maybe at some coffee shops. Your best bet is to try and get a job at a mall.
