Why is Mr. GorgeousFluffpot's hair starting to slip off his head and sprout out of his ears and

He's got a lovely head of blonde hair but now complains that, as he's getting older, he's getting more and more hair sprouting out of his ears. And his nose! So when I trim his hair I also have to take the shears to his little pink ear'oles and trim the hair that grows there. Why is this happening to him?

He's starting to get a very hairy nose, too. But when he whizzes along in his sports car, he says that at least he flies don't get up his conk now.

So why is it that, as you get older, your nose and ear hair gets more fulsomely hirsute?

Also, please send some words of comfort to Mr. GorgeousFluffpot who is peering at himself in a mirror, and taking the tweezers to his nostrils. Ouch!
