Changing my raccon tails from pink to blonde?

i have pink and dark brown raccoon tails/stripes in my hair

i did them myself using a semi perminant dye...

only the pink just WONT come out!

it has faded abit but it hasnt gone

i want the pink bits to be bleach blonde

someone told me to bleach right over the pink and it will just go blonde

ive gone over it twice and its still pink!

what shall i do to make them blonde?

I have pink in my hair as well, and besides red, it is the hardest color to get out. If you're wanting to have it a bleach blonde color I'm afraid that isn't possible. I was told by my hairstylist that the only way to get rid of the pink is to bleach it, and then color over it with a darker color, and even then it may not all come out. There's not sure way to strip it from your hair, but maybe you should color it a darker color, wait a while and then bleach it again? Not sure if that would help, but it's a more definite way to get it out than just bleaching, because that usually doesn't work.

EDIT: Stripping IS bleaching.. You don't strip then bleach, it's the same thing.

go to a profesional and get it strippped of the color then bleach it or have them bleach it........... hope that helps 8)

First off, I LOVE your hair.

Second, you can go to walmart or really any store with hair dye and get a color-stripping set.

They're about $15 for the good ones and it will take out any color you've dyed your hair.

You'll have to wait a few days so you won't damage your hair too much, but its worth it so you can dye it another color.
